Pray the Memorare

Mother Teresa asked people to pray one Memorare (every day) for a hospital she needed built. Thousands of people responded and she got her hospital.

Please pray one Memorare (every day) for President Obama's conversion, especially with regards to Life and Family issues!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

(Thanks to my sister in-law Carol for this).

Buttons, Buttons, who's got the buttons

On a suggestion from my sister in-law, I signed up for an account @ Cafe Press to get buttons, t-shirts, hats, bumper stickers and the like with a Pray For Obama message on them.

I'm hoping that we can get the word out and we'll get asked why we have these items and to help encourage others to start praying as well.

If you are interested, please visit the site at Come visit my store on CafePress!

Thank you and God Bless!

Bill

Prayer: Father, we thank you for all your blessings and we ask that you harden not the heart of President-Elect Obama. Open the eyes of his heart and let him see the glory and wonder of all your creation. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen!

Congratulations President-Elect Obama

Dear President-Elect Obama,

We wish to take this time to offer you our congratulations on your nomination for President of the United States.

We may not agree on all issues, but caring for our fellow Americans is one ideal we can firmly stand behind.

To that end, we are pledging to pray for you. To have the eyes of your heart opened to the sanctity of life from the womb to the tomb.

"Eternal Father, we come before you and ask that you open the heart of our President to see the beauty that you create in each and every one of us. That no one is an "accident" but that he or she is part of your Great Design.

We ask that you continue to bless our country and that you put in all of us a loving heart that seeks to do no more than Your will.

We ask this all through Christ our Lord,

Amen"
